Boa Onda (Good Wave)

'Boa onda' is a Portuguese expression meaning 'Good vibe', although its literal translation is 'Good wave'.
I was drawn to its slightly last century, hippy surfer sentiment, which is grounded in a healthy respect or awe for nature. I also like the fact that it utilises the symbolism of the wave to imply a temporary state, and in doing so alludes to the inevitable ups and downs of every life.
